New improved mounting hardware to improve clamping strength for 2017. Our YZ 250 2 stroke plate protects the main frame rails, ignition-oil cover & water pump sidecase areas. This is not a thin walled lower strength injected molded or noisey aluminum skidplate. Patented forming technique mirrors frame bends for a perfect fit without stress or potential cracks. Best waterpump and sidecase protection in the business for your YZ 250. Years of testing proved that our nylon composite mix absorbs impacts and allows full frame flex without binding. This skid plate is 35-40% lighter than most aluminum parts and speads impacts loads on direct hits. TMD's plastic skids include a silicone additive so plate glides over obstacles effortlessly.. This plate only weighs 1.2 lbs and comes with EZ access oil drain hole. Custom skidplate foam is available for dirt and mud protection.
