Scotts Steering Damper Mount Kit Australia KTM 790 (19-> Current) Sub Solid +8mm Linkarm Required

Shown here is the complete bolt on SUB mount kit for the 790/890 Adventure and R models and the Husqvarna 901 Norden Adventure, (the Husky requires some minor tank shroud mods. the mods can be seen in the "mounting instructions" above). This is a substantial improvement to this model. This is a Solid SUB mount without rubber dampening. It mounts to the stock triple clamp. The kit includes everything you need to make the installation easy and quick. This kit raises the bars 25mm and allows for 4 front to back bar positions (stock, 7mm, 15mm and 22mm forward).  The text below this is generic text that applies to all our SUB mounts.

This kit requires a + 8 Link arm and is not included in the mount kit. The correct linkarm is however supplied when you purchase a damper.

The "SUB" mount stands for Stabilizer Under Bars, originally designed for raising the bars. These kits are designed for use with Oversize bars. "Bar reducers" are available as an option, to convert the kit to standard diameter bars, should that be desired. This concept allows more room for other equipment such as, Global Positioning Systems(GPS) or Enduro/Rally computers and yet still retain the quick access for adjusting the stabilizer. This is also good for the taller rider who wants his bars a little higher, as it raises the bar location approximately 11-25mm, depending on the model of bike. In some cases, you might consider a lower bend handlebar bend at the same time, unless you are trying to achieve a higher bar height along with your stabilizer installation. The SUB mounts are only available on certain models based on the physical limitations of mounting in this area.
