The GHR Honda TRX 700 Dakar Quad is the only vehicle ever built in this country which has one a stage Outright at Dakar. This unit was comminsioned for use in the 2013 Dakar event. GHR went to this event with 4 Riders on their bikes and one quad ridden by Paul Smith. Paul finished 7th Outright on this unit and won stage 11 in the Fiambala dunes. An Aussie first!!

The bike was stripped to a bare chassis and plated and gusseted in many areas. Then many items were fabricated in house such as the exhaust sytem / nerf bars / fuel tank holders / rear wheel carrier / tool box / water tank / parts of the dakar tower and many more items. It was a solid three months of just building this unit. To try to replicate now would be a $70,000 cost

The above PDF has a detailed list of parts. This unit had the engine used for only the first week and then a spare was put in. This bike could go to any national Rallye such as the Condo 750 , Sunraysia Safari or any International Rallye such as Dakar. Race proven simply add fuel. Happy to discuss the unit.
